Kwanza was born and raised in West Philadelphia, but she currently lives in Owings Mills, Maryland with her husband of 28 years, Quinton. Together Quinton and Kwanza have two amazing adult children Quinton Jr. and Nia.
Kwanza is a Minister, Christian Publisher, Author, Conference Host, Speaker, former Radio Host and Ministry Consultant. She is the President and CEO of First Fruits Publishing, the Founder and Director of Girlfriend Therapy®, Inc. and the President and CEO of The Consulting and Communications Group. She is the author of three books, No Greater Love (2009, fiction), According to Your Faith Be It Unto You (2012, non-fiction) and the recently released book, Reflections of a Life Well Lived (2020, non-fiction).
Kwanza is the Founder and Director of Girlfriend Therapy®, Inc. Girlfriend Therapy®, Inc. is a 501c(3) organization that started in March of 2008 as a gathering of women in her living room. In March 2011, Girlfriend Therapy®, Inc. was founded as a public facing ministry, it is a deliverance ministry rooted in the foundation scripture found in Jeremiah 1:5-10 and is dedicated to educating, encouraging, empowering, edifying, and esteeming women through the truth of God’s word. Mrs. Ruth L. Brown is a native Baltimorean who was educated in the Baltimore City Pubic School System and attended Morgan State University. As an employee of the Department of Health and Human Services, Social Security Administration (SSA), she was afforded the opportunity to attend classes at the University of Maryland through the Upward Mobility Program. During her 33-year tenure with the Federal Government, Ruth received many certificates and awards, most notably the “United States Department of Health and Human Services, Secretary’s Special Citation” and the SSA Commissioner’s Citation.
In the early 70’s, Ruth and her family moved to Orange, New Jersey where she worked at the Food and Drug Administration. During this time, she received training to become an Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor. Upon returning to Baltimore, Ruth was reinstated with the SSA where she worked until her retirement in 2001.
After her retirement, Ruth took a much needed rest for five years before she offered to watch her only grandchild, Joshua. For four years, Ruth worked at the Baltimore County Board of Elections which was a very rewarding experience. She still maintains friendships from places where she has worked.
Ruth’s favorite scripture is Exodus 20:12, “Respect your father and your mother, so that you may live a long time in the land that I am giving you.” (GNT).
Rev. Denise Ford is representing the Baby Boomers generations. This generation values equal opportunities, teamwork and community, open communication, asking questions and making the world better for the next generation.

Reverend Denise N. Ford is the servant overseer of Women on the Move for Christ Ministry, LLC. The ministry vision was given to minister to women. Humbly serving to impact the life of young and senior women through created platforms for dialogue, authenticity, preaching, teaching, and mentoring. The ministry strives to meet needs of homeless, those in shelters and families by collaborative partnerships. The mission is to reach the world for Christ by impacting one life at a time. Matthew 28:19-20.
Rev. Ford’s passion and mantle is in prayer, intercession, preaching and setting the captives free by ministering to the core of the body and community. The mission and ministry have been to women and men in Shelter ministry, Prison ministry, College campus ministry, Community prayer vigils, and individual discipleship. Rev. Ford’s concern is for the very fabric of a person’s life. Striving daily to encourage uplift and inspire others to press on by embracing their true identity in Christ.
Rev. Ford serves as Associate Minister of First Baptist Church of Guilford in Columbia, MD.
Rev. Ford’s confidence rests in the power of Christ’s finished work. Rev. Ford trusts in the Lord, walks by faith, and knows that there is power in prayer! Her scripture of promise is, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thy own understanding in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths” Proverbs 3:5-6.

Ariana Broadway is in the Millennials generation which is also known as Generation Y. They are the children of the boomers and are sometimes called the "echo boomers." They are the most educated and independent generation to date.

Ariana Broadway accepted the Lord as her personal Savior when she was six years old at her home church, Colonial Baptist Church in Randallstown, Maryland. As a young child and into adulthood, Ariana has always had a love for the homeless, elderly, and sick people so the Lord instilled in her heart the desire to pursue a career in caring for the less fortunate and vulnerable. Ariana is currently employed as a Practice Communications Coordinator in the Oncology Department at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She previously worked as a Medical Administrative Assistant at the University of Maryland Medical Center and at the Heartlands Independent and Assisted Living Facility in Ellicott City. Ariana received her AA Degree in Medical Administration from the Community College of Baltimore County and her BA Degree in Communications from the University of Maryland University College.
Ariana has been a member of Colonial Baptist Church since 2001. She loves the Lord and enthusiastically served at the church in various capacities, including in the Young Adult Praise Team, Puppet, Media, Life, and Welcome Ministries. Her Life Verse is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Ariana has been blessed to be a part of a large family. In addition to her parents and sister, Ariana enjoys spending quality time with her loving grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins who fill her life with lots of love, support and encouragement. As she waits for the Lord to prepare a godly young man to compliment her life, if it is His Will, she will continue to busy herself with worship, service and Bible Study to further enrich her life as a child of God.
Samariah Chase is our youngest presenter who will speak about her generation, Gen Z or also called iGen, they don't know life without the iPhone or social media. This generation has a strong entrepreneurial drive.

Samariah Chase is 13 years old and the only girl in her blended family of three, soon to be, five brothers! Her brothers affectionately call her "Sister." She attends Deer Park Middle Magnet School virtually. Samariah wants to become a scientist and work at NASA! She along with her team recently won first place and are representing their school at the State competition for their project on wearable technology! Samariah is exploring what will be her life verse but now she is drawn to Hebrews 11:6, But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. She is still learning about God. (So are we Samariah!)
